Children are given breakfast every morning at 7:45 am. The daily breakfast is full of varieties, There is a distinct breakfast every weak. On weekdays, in breakfast, Upma, Pohe, Sheera, Misal, Sushila, Bajri Khichadi, Dhokala Dabeli, Samosa, Shabudana Khichadi noodles, dahivada etc. are given.
In Lunch the children have two types of vegetable cyrriys dal and rice, Chapatis, Chutneys, Salads, ghee& butter. In afternoon meals, there is one dry bhaji & one curry with gravy. Leafy vegetables are given twice in a week. In dinner time one bhaji, chspati, dal-rich, Chutuey , salad,ghee etc. are served for a change in a month, we give pitthal bhakri, varanphal, pavbhaji, parathe chutney, Khichadi kadhi, dal-batti, Ragada petis, bhel etc.
Twice in a month, sweets are given and also sweet feast is arranged on the celebration of Indian festivals. The sweet dishes include Jilebi, Gulab Jamun, Imrati, Balushahi, Puranpoli, Gajarhalwa, Shrikhand, Basundi, Motichurladdoo, Basen Barfi etc.
Two representatives of each class are selected for the purpose of planning meals favoring the childrens’ choice For the preparation of monthly chart, their opinion is considered.
We buy high quality groceries for cooking. The quality of each item is checked. In the grocery items, we choose of rice of mother india brand, pure ghee govardhan, Ravvi/masale, pickle, fine quality pulses Also, vegetables and fruits are purchased. done twice a Week. we buy vegetables & fruits of high quality, Each day there is a different kind of fruit. In fruits, mostly bananas, papaya, water-melon, bor, Pineapple, sweet lime , chickoo, mango, blackberry etc. are bought seasonwise.
