Above is the Poetic interpretation by the famous Marathi poet V.V. Chiplunkar about education. And we also believe in it. To implement it in our school, we have Co-Curricular department. In every textbook’s preface, the aim’s of syllabus planning are included for ex. To develop life skills, self study with the help of activities, Preference to innovative thoughts, Identification of self potential. To develop the responsible citizens, By considering all these aims syllabus of textbooks are planned. Co-Curricular department works hard to achieve all these aims.
Daily prayer (Upasama) for 28 mins.
Every student gets opportunity to come on stage.
The day starts in pleasant atmosphere by prayer of Goddess sarswati.
Presentation of different points by the students for ex. English conversation, Sanskrit conversation, Moral story, Quiz, News, Pledge in different languages, Specialty of the day, presentation of patriotic songs.
It helps to develop the stage courage in students.
By taking into consideration the syllabus, 4 field visits are planned. For ex. Field visits of Muncipal corporation, police Department, Collector Office, Sugar Factory, visits to different Industries.
Opportunity to study, Units of syllabus in a practical way.
Every Student is given particular responsibilities or tasks during the field visit.
For ex. Chief of uniforms, accountant, chief photographer etc.
– It helps to enhance the feeling of responsibility in students.
To make the learning process more entertaining, inspirational, we arrange the programmer of ‘Shaniwar Mejwam’ on every second Saturday of each month. Poet, Eknath Avhad, Cartoonist Vaijanath Dulange, Poet Dasu Vaidya, Visubhau Bapat, Commedian Prakash Bhagvat all there dignitaries have shared their knowledge, experiences, arts with our students.
We celebrate the first Day of our school to welcome the students and the last day in playful atmosphere.
The intention behind this celebration is, to encourage and inspire the students to learn.
Considering this aim, we oraganise the programes of magians, different entertaining games, programmer of comedians.
To experience and to inculcate the feeling of patriotism in Bhart Ratna Atal Bihari’s following poem “India is not just piece of Land, It is the Lively being”. We organize tours/trips for students to visit different places in our country.
We visit the different places in different states and we visit the heritage sites, Historical places, Society important places, the places of geographical importance.
Students expres their views, thoughts, feelings about the different programmes held in our school. They express their views in the Monthly called ‘Chanakya Darpan’ And ‘Chanakya Darpan is published in every month.
We have independent editorial committee of students for “Chanakya Darpan”.
The various tasks are completed by the students for ex. News writing, selection of news, Improvisation and editing in news.
Weekly period of reading for each class.
To develop the habit of reading in Students, We organize different activities such as “Vachak Veer”, “The book, I liked the most”, Book review, Note book for imp points.
2 Periods of computer learning in each week for each class.
To connect the student with the world, with the help of computer training.
Units like Excel, word, power-points are included In syllabus of computer learning.
Training of Tabla, Harmonian, Playing.
Arrangement of Exams of music subjet (Gandharv Mandal).
Special training for the students who has more speed and interest in the music.
Training of Drawing for the development imagination power and innovation in students.
2 Periods in a week for each class.
Training of Art, Graft, Work on soil, Origamy, painting etc.
Creation of Rakhis, creation of paper lantern, creation of kites.
All these activities are planned and implemented in the year.
Arrangements of Elementary and Intermediate exams.
We organize Annual science exhibition to develop creativity, Novelty, Scientific attitude in students.
Students present experiments on different topics such as pollution, Cleanliness, Environment, Space, Human Body, Agriculture, Industry, Chemistry etc.
As we all know that our Indian Culture is a guide to the world And to inculcate this thought / feeling in our students we celebrate birth anniversaries and death anniversaries of great people in our school.
Students plan the different activates and they present it.
It makes the activities innovative and entertaining.
It helps the students to participate in activities and It helps to develop the student.
Along with the students, the parents are also educated on the topic “My child and its development”.
It enhances the attitude of the parents to be careful about their child’s development.
According to swami Vivikananda “What is education? Is it book learning? No. Is it diverse knowledge? Not even that, It is man-making education all round that we want”.
And we also believe in swami vivikananda’s opinion about true education, And we are trying to achieve it.
